MotorEasy partners with Honcho

MotorEasy are pleased to announce an exciting new partnership with motor insurance disruptor Honcho, to bring a suite of motoring after-care services including MOT, servicing and extended warranties to Honcho customers.

Honcho is the world’s first reverse auction marketplace for insurance, where drivers ask insurance providers to bid against each other, in real time, to provide the exact car or van insurance cover that matches their needs, at their best possible price. Since their launch in late 2019 they have brought together dozens of insurance providers covering all parts of the car and van insurance markets, with their innovative and unique apps already being used by thousands of drivers across the UK.

Honcho’s partnership with MotorEasy marks the launch of the latest marketplace of services for Honcho customers, for the first-time bringing vehicle care services to Honcho customers. In the partnership, MotorEasy will provide a co-branded platform to enable car owners to manage the lifecycle of their vehicles, including servicing, MOTs and repairs, as well as add-on products like warranties, gap insurance and breakdown cover.

Frank Speight, Commercial Director at Honcho, said “We’re delighted to launch our partnership with MotorEasy and to bring their range of relevant products to thousands of Honcho customers. Smart car and van drivers are already using Honcho to choose the insurance that is best for them, and we’re really excited to be able to now offer them a range of after-care services to further look after their vehicles.”

Duncan McClure Fisher, founder and CEO of MotorEasy said, “we see a strong meeting of minds with honcho; both brands driven by a common purpose to disrupt the market and deliver value-driven services to motorists. Honcho customers will benefit from access to our network of workshops and contact centre engineers, helping them save time and money arranging repairs, services and MOTs. They’ll also gain access to our range of protection products, where we’ve historically pioneered the introduction of direct-to-customer extended warranties and, more recently, Electric Vehicle warranties with battery cover.’
